Bad Wolves release 'Jolene' cover featuring Dolly Parton vocals

Rock band Bad Wolves has released a new version of their cover of 'Jolene' that incorporates posthumous vocals from the late Dolly Parton. The recording was made possible through the support and approval of the Parton estate, utilizing previously recorded vocal stems mixed by Kent Wells.

The release follows an initial version of the cover released in August, which did not feature Parton's vocals. This new rendition includes duets between vocalist Sara Skinner and Parton. To support Parton's legacy, the band is donating all proceeds from the track to her Imagination Library program, a non-profit initiative dedicated to promoting literacy by providing free books to children.

A music video accompanied the release, featuring Bad Wolves performing in the studio alongside archive footage of Parton and students from Nashville's School of Rock.
