Badajoz announces subsidies for disability independence projects

The Diputación de Badajoz has announced a call for subsidies totaling 50,000 euros to support independent living and personal assistance projects for people with disabilities. Managed by the Delegation of Universal Accessibility and Inclusion, the funds are divided into two equal lines of 25,000 euros each.

The independent living fund targets projects such as housing for autonomy, community support, inclusive leisure, and skills development for daily life. The personal assistance fund supports individualized support to help individuals achieve specific life goals. These grants are intended for non-profit entities and specifically exclude the financing of medical or therapeutic treatments, focusing instead on social inclusion and personal autonomy.
