Badajoz authorities launch anti-bullying campaign with student film

The Diputación de Badajoz Equality Area has released a video to mark the start of the school year, aimed at supporting the more than 100,000 students in the province. Produced in collaboration with students from the film workshop at the IES Maestro Juan Calero in Monesterio, the audiovisual project seeks to combat school bullying and promote emotional support.

The initiative focuses on raising awareness about respect, empathy, and gender perspective. According to Equality Deputy Lourdes Linares, the project aims to make citizens think about the impact of hurtful actions and to visibility issues related to inequality and diversity. The campaign will consist of six short audiovisual capsules released throughout the year.
