Badajoz Chamber of Commerce launches business succession program

The Badajoz Chamber of Commerce has launched the ‘Relevo Empresarial’ program to promote entrepreneurship through business succession. The initiative aims to provide continuity to viable, established businesses within the municipalities of the Badajoz province.

In alignment with the Junta de Extremadura’s efforts to boost economic activity in rural areas, the program offers an alternative to starting businesses from scratch. It allows potential entrepreneurs to take over existing operations that already possess established locations, customer bases, and accumulated local knowledge.

The program provides technical guidance and structured information to both current business owners and prospective successors. By facilitating these transitions, the initiative seeks to maintain economic activity in smaller municipalities and offer new entrepreneurs projects with a proven foundation.
