Badajoz City Council to renovate Los Alféreces Park playground

The Badajoz City Council has confirmed it is processing a complete renovation of the Los Alféreces Park playground following several reports of accidents. The decision follows a recent incident where a four-year-old girl fell from a play module, striking her head, neck, and back. While the child did not sustain serious injuries, the accident has renewed concerns among local families regarding the safety of the current equipment.

Municipal sources stated that the new installation will be specifically adapted for younger children. In response to the incident, parents have called for provisional safety measures to be implemented while the full renovation is being executed to prevent further accidents.
