Badajoz hosts 15th edition of La Noche en Blanco cultural festival

The city of Badajoz is hosting the 15th edition of 'La Noche en Blanco', a large-scale cultural event featuring over 180 activities across museums, monuments, and public squares. The festivities began with a videomapping spectacle titled ‘La máquina’, projected onto the facade of the Municipal Palace. This audiovisual creation, lasting approximately 10 minutes, showcased the city's annual cultural programming, including flamenco, carnivals, and Holy Week.

As part of the celebrations, the association Amigos de Badajoz is organizing a nocturnal route titled ‘Una Alcazaba de leyenda’. This free guided tour starts at the Casas Mudéjares and explores the legends and history of the Alcazaba fortress under nighttime illumination. The event aims to provide a different perspective on the city's heritage, including views of the Guadiana River and the San Cristóbal fortress.
