Badajoz Performing Arts Office launches Da Capo season

Miguel Calderón, coordinator of the Performing Arts Office for the Diputación de Badajoz, has introduced ‘Da Capo’, a new artistic season running from October to May. The program features 32 proposals from local music conservatories, marking the first joint season between the Conservatorio Profesional Juan Vázquez and the Conservatorio Superior de Música Bonifacio Gil.

Calderón, who took over the role following the departure of David Sánchez, noted that while the transition has been complicated, his priority remains fulfilling the objectives of the music centers. He described the first months in the position as a positive experience despite the significant effort and long hours required.
