Badajoz Solidarity Race against Cancer exceeds 500 registrations

The XIII Badajoz Against Cancer Solidarity Race, held in tribute to Antonio Pérez, has surpassed 500 registrations. Organizers aim to reach a total of 650 participants for this edition.

The event, which includes a 10-kilometer race, a 5-kilometer walk, and children's races, is scheduled to take place on September 13. Registration is available online or at the Lider Sport store in Badajoz. Participation fees are 15 euros for the main race and walk, while children's races are 6 euros. Additional donations can be made through commemorative t-shirts and the purchase of a 'number 0' bib.

Over the past twelve editions, the initiative has raised more than 54,000 euros for the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in Badajoz. The race honors the memory of Antonio Pérez, a member of the Badajoz Marathon Club and a prominent figure in the city's sports community.
