Badajoz to host Spanish Veteran Padel Championship

Badajoz will host the Spanish Second Category Veteran Team Padel Championship from September 25 to 27. The event, held at the Pádel Indoor La Cañada facilities, is expected to bring together approximately 260 players across 14 teams, including seven men's and seven women's squads.

The men's competition is for players over 40, while the women's category is for athletes over 35. Beyond the titles, the tournament will determine promotions to the First Category and relegation status for the participants. Local officials noted that the event is expected to provide a boost to the city's economy through increased activity over the weekend.
