Badajoz University Hospital adds electric vehicle charging stations
The Badajoz University Hospital has launched 25 new parking spaces equipped with electric vehicle (EV) charging points. Located near the hospital complex's control building, the new infrastructure is intended to serve staff, patients, and visitors.
The installation includes 17 charging units: nine single chargers and eight double chargers, providing a total of 25 charging points. Each point has a maximum power capacity of 7.4 kW, with one space specifically reserved for individuals with reduced mobility. The project involved a total investment of 49,687.28 euros.
The charging stations are available Monday through Friday, from 07:30 to 22:30. These spaces are reserved exclusively for electric vehicles while they are charging and cannot be used for conventional parking.
