Badalona Women to host FC Barcelona in Catalan derby

Badalona Women will face FC Barcelona this Sunday at the Palamós-Costa Brava stadium for the Catalan derby in the ninth round of Lliga F. Due to ongoing renovations at the Badalona Municipal Stadium, the match will be held in Palamós for the second consecutive year.

Badalona Women enter the match seeking to break a five-game winless streak that has left them just one point above the relegation zone. Conversely, FC Barcelona seeks its eighth victory of the season. The Barcelona squad arrives following recent accolades at the Pilota d'Or gala, where they were named the best women's team of 2026, with individual honors for Pere Romeu, Cata Coll, and Vicky López.

Ticket sales for the match have seen significant interest, with one thousand tickets already sold, including full occupancy in the Fondo A and B sections. Prices range from 9 to 17 euros, with VIP options available for 50 euros. The match is scheduled for 12:30 and will be broadcast live on TV3 and the 3Cat platform.
