Baden-Baden-Iffezheim hosts ‘Die Grosse Woche’ racing event

The Baden-Baden-Iffezheim racecourse is set to host ‘Die Grosse Woche’ from August 29 to September 6, 2026. This major racing event features six Group races, with a total prize pool of approximately 1.5 million euros, including breeder premiums.

The festivities begin with the 71st Preis der Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, a Group III race covering 2,000 meters with a prize of 55,000 euros. Notable competitors include Petit Marin, who has placed third in this race in both 2023 and 2025, as well as Peace of Japan and Stingray.
