Baden-Baden police pursue unlicensed motorcyclist through city

An 18-year-old motorcyclist led police on a chase through several districts of Baden-Baden on Thursday afternoon. The pursuit began in Oos Bahnhofstraße after the driver ignored signals to stop for a traffic inspection regarding a motorcycle without a license plate.

During the chase, which spanned from Oos through Rheinstraße to the city center, the driver disregarded traffic signs, ran red lights, and drove into oncoming traffic. The individual also entered a heavily frequented pedestrian zone at Hindenburgplatz at high speed due to a construction site.

The pursuit ended at a construction site at the end of Luisenstraße, where police were able to intercept the driver. A subsequent check revealed that the 18-year-old did not possess a valid driver's license for the light motorcycle. Investigations are ongoing.
