Baden-Württemberg summer 2026: Family forest trail in Baden‑Baden and a series of wine festivals

The Baden‑Baden Forest Office (Forstamt Baden‑Baden) invites families to the seasonal Wichtelpfad during the summer holidays. The 800‑metre forest trail features small elf figures painted by local primary‑school children, offering a whimsical walk for children and adults. The route is not barrier‑free and is unsuitable for strollers. Visitors are asked to leave the elves in place for subsequent guests.

Several wine festivals are scheduled across the Bodensee region and Baden‑Württemberg in late July and early August 2026. The Konstanz Wine Festival celebrates its 50th anniversary from 29 July to 1 August on Sankt‑Stephans‑Platz. The Sigmaringen Wine Festival runs 31 July to 1 August at the Rathausplatz. The Reichenau Wine and Fishermen Festival takes place 31 July to 2 August on the Yachthafen Herrenbrücke, featuring local fish and wines. The Hagnau Wine Festival follows on 1‑2 August at the Torkelwiese in the Bodensee lakeside park.
