Badia agricultural company targeted by criminal arson in Rosarno

The Badia agricultural company in Rosarno is facing an escalation of criminal activity, including multiple targeted arson attacks. Entrepreneur Patrizia Rodi Morabito, a member of the Reggio Calabria Chamber of Commerce Executive, has been the primary target of these attacks since 2024.

In response, a delegation from the “Dalla Terra-Contadinanza Necessaria Ets” social cooperative, led by President Nino Quaranta, visited the site to provide both emotional and practical support. The visit included the Mayor of San Ferdinando, Gianluca Gaetano. The cooperative, which represents 16 productive entities across the province, has pledged technical collaboration to help restore the olive groves and citrus orchards damaged by the fires.

Nino Quaranta emphasized the need for permanent protections involving regional and metropolitan authorities to ensure that agricultural production remains viable and profitable for farmers facing such threats.
