The Devbhoomi Cultural Festival-2026 is being held at the Tourist Arrival Plaza in Badrinath on September 19 and 20. Organized jointly by the Indian Army and the Chamoli District Administration under Operation Sadbhavana, the event follows the theme ‘Our Heritage, Our Future’.

The festival aims to preserve the cultural heritage of Uttarakhand and promote tourism in border regions. Highlights include Garhwali folk dances, traditional music, and cultural performances by students. The Indian Army will host a special exhibition showcasing its role in nation-building, border security, and disaster relief operations.

To support local economies, the event features stalls for women's self-help groups, local artisans, farmers, and young entrepreneurs. These stalls will showcase local handicrafts, handlooms, organic products, and traditional cuisine. The initiative aligns with the Vibrant Village Program to foster employment and economic activity in remote areas through tourism.
