Bae Jong-ok to debut in horror thriller ‘Perfect House’

Veteran actress Bae Jong-ok is set to take on her first horror thriller role in the upcoming film ‘Perfect House’, scheduled for release on November 25. Directed by Jeong Yong-gi, the film follows a college student who moves into a luxury apartment under unusual conditions and begins experiencing strange occurrences while living with the elegant homeowner, Geum-rim.

Bae Jong-ok portrays Geum-rim, a character who initially appears warm and welcoming to the student, but gradually reveals a more unsettling presence as the tension builds. The actress noted that she chose the project because it cleverly incorporates the desires and hopes of the younger generation into the horror genre, offering a unique charm different from traditional horror films.

The film also stars Jang Gyu-ri and Kim Min-cheol. Bae Jong-ok, who debuted in 1985, has built a distinguished career across various genres in both television and film, earning numerous accolades including awards at the Grand Bell Awards and Baeksang Arts Awards.
