BAE Systems and TUALCOM partner on autonomous air technologies

BAE Systems and the Turkish defense technology company TUALCOM have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on advanced technologies for future autonomous air systems. The partnership, led by BAE Systems’ FalconWorks division, aims to develop capabilities that allow uncrewed aircraft to operate effectively in contested and degraded environments.

The collaboration will focus on integrating resilient communications, assured navigation, and electronic warfare technologies into autonomous platforms. These advancements are intended to ensure that aircraft can continue to sense, communicate, and navigate even when satellite links, command-and-control networks, or traditional systems are disrupted by jamming or electronic interference.

The strategic framework is designed to support customers in the United Kingdom, Türkiye, and wider international markets by accelerating the development of sovereign and exportable defense technologies.
