Baeza and Los Barrios stage summer comedy performances

Renowned Andalusian comedian José Luis Calero will return to Baeza for his new show “Humorista de guardia” at the Teatro Montemar on Friday, 7 August 2026, as part of the Feria de Baeza program. The city’s cultural office highlighted the show’s blend of everyday jokes on work, family, and health, expecting it to draw a large audience.

In the neighboring town of Los Barrios, the Los Cortijillos district hosted a comedy evening on 18 July featuring the act “Paco y Maite: ¿Estamos en crisis…?” The event was one of several summer activities organized by the municipal council, alongside concerts, children’s festivals, and other cultural outings.

Both performances are local initiatives aimed at enhancing community life through humor and entertainment during the summer season.
