BAFICI Itinerante film festival returns to Pinamar

The BAFICI Itinerante, the federal version of the Buenos Aires Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente, will return to Pinamar on August 15 and 16. For the fourth time, the Teatro de la Torre will serve as the venue for this event, which is considered one of the most important independent film gatherings in Latin America.

The festival will feature a selection of 18 feature films and short films from the 27th edition of the festival. The screenings are free to the public and include award-winning and critically acclaimed works across various genres and styles.

In addition to the screenings, the event aims to foster direct interaction between the audience and filmmakers. Several sessions will include talks with directors following the projections, allowing for discussions regarding creative processes and bringing independent cinema to new audiences.
