Bagheria to host 13th Trofeo del Mare running race

Trofeo del Mare road running Bagheria Grand Prix Sicilia Eurospin youth athletics

The 13th edition of the Trofeo del Mare is scheduled to take place in Bagheria on November 1, 2026. Organized by the ASD Sicilia Running Team in collaboration with the Polisportiva Atletica Bagheria, the event features a national 10-kilometer road race as part of the Grand Prix Sicilia Eurospin 2026.

The competition will start and end near Villa Palagonia on via Diego D’Amico. This year's edition introduces several updates, including the addition of youth races for children starting from age four, which are part of the provincial Grand Prix circuit.

Furthermore, the event is joining the Running Sicily international circuit, a move intended to increase the visibility of the race beyond regional borders and attract a broader range of athletes and families.
