Baghpat man dies from rabies three months after dog bite

A 35-year-old man named Anees has died in the Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh approximately three months after being bitten by a dog. According to his family, the initial bite was not treated with anti-rabies vaccinations.

As his condition deteriorated, Anees reportedly exhibited significant behavioral changes and required physical restraint. Following his death, fear spread through Laliyana village regarding the potential transmission of rabies. In response, approximately 55 residents, including members of the deceased's family, visited the Ratol Primary Health Centre to receive precautionary anti-rabies injections.
