Bagnoregio community rescues injured puppy after accident

A puppy known locally as Cocò was rescued in Bagnoregio after being injured in an accident that left her with injuries to her hind legs. The rescue involved a coordinated effort between local citizens, law enforcement, and emergency services.

Bagnoregio Mayor Luca Profili publicly thanked the various parties involved in the operation, including the Carabinieri, the Asl veterinary service, and the Civil Protection agency. He specifically noted the contribution of citizen Corinna Pernigotto Cego, who remained with the animal until she could be transported. The puppy has been moved to a veterinary clinic to receive necessary medical treatment.
