Bagsværd Kostskole to be transformed into 54 residential homes

PensionDanmark and SquareMeter have entered a conditional agreement to transform the former Bagsværd Kostskole into a residential area. The project involves a 39,575-square-meter property located at Skovalléen 30-32 and Slotsparken 58.

The plan aims to create 54 owner-occupied homes, consisting of 44 terraced houses and 10 apartments. While some existing historic buildings will be renovated into apartments, others are slated for demolition to make way for new construction designed to reflect the area’s century-long history.

In addition to housing, the development intends to open previously private land to the public, providing new natural areas with access to Bagsværd Sø. The project is currently awaiting a new local plan from Gladsaxe Kommune to permit residential use of the site.
