Bah Oury chairs first governance arbitration meeting for Simandou 2040
Prime Minister Bah Oury presided over the first arbitration meeting of the ‘Sovereignty and Governance’ pole to advance the Simandou 2040 program. During the session, nine dossiers from four ministries were reviewed, resulting in firm instructions and specific deadlines for implementation.
Key objectives include the digitalization of public services, the modernization of the civil service, and the acceleration of decentralization. The meeting involved several oversight structures, including the Guinea Development Board (GDB), the Delivery Unit, and the Administration and Control of Major Projects (ACGP). Efforts are also focused on establishing an organic framework for communes and regions to strengthen local public administration.
