Bahía de Kino to host creative summer camp for children

The Municipal Institute of Culture and Art (IMCA), through the Hermosillo City Council, has announced the fourth group of its 2026 Creative Summer Camp. The program will take place from August 24 to August 28 at the Eldon Heaston Municipal Public Library in Bahía de Kino.

Designed for children aged 7 to 10, the camp offers workshops in art, music, reading, and cinema. Marianna González Gastélum, director of IMCA, noted that the program aims to foster creativity and learning through social interaction.

Participation requires a recovery fee of 150 pesos, which covers a camp t-shirt, workshop materials, and daily snacks. Due to limited capacity, interested parties must register in person at the Eldon Heaston Municipal Public Library on Avenida Salina Cruz, Monday through Friday, between 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
