Bahçelievler Municipality mortgages three facilities for debt restructuring

The Bahçelievler Municipality has approved a plan to mortgage three major public facilities to secure the restructuring of accumulated tax and Social Security Institution (SGK) debts for its subsidiary companies, Bahçelievler Yönetim Danışmanlığı Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. and Bahçelievler Personel A.Ş.

The three properties designated as collateral include the Akif Emre Culture Center, the Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu Sports Complex, and the Siyavuşpaşa Culture and Sports Complex. The decision was made under Article 48 of Law No. 6183 to allow for the deferral and installment payments of these debts.

Despite negative reports from the municipality's Law, Planning and Budget, and Zoning commissions, which deemed the proposal
