Baheya Medical Excellence Center to host 9th Breast Cancer Conference

The Baheya Medical Excellence Center has announced the ninth edition of the Baheya Breast Cancer Conference (BBCC 2026), scheduled for October 1–2, 2026. The event is expected to host over 500 doctors, consultants, and specialists representing more than 15 countries.

The conference agenda covers a wide range of medical disciplines, including breast surgery, medical oncology, radiology, radiotherapy, pathology, critical care, physiotherapy, clinical pharmacy, nutrition, and nursing. Discussions will also focus on emerging healthcare technologies such as artificial intelligence, precision medicine, molecular diagnostics, digital pathology, and biobanking.

In addition to scientific presentations, the event will feature interactive workshops on topics like medical imaging, MRI, and ultrasound-guided interventions. Multidisciplinary discussions through Tumor Boards will allow experts to exchange experiences regarding real-world medical cases. Tamer Shawky, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Baheya Foundation, noted that the foundation aims to provide an integrated system encompassing periodic screening, treatment, and research, alongside psychological and social support for patients.
