The government of Bahia has announced a public competition for 50 positions as Specialists in Government Policy and Management. The total compensation for the role is R$ 10,860.62, consisting of a base salary and a management activity gratification. Applications are scheduled to run from October 16 to November 11 via the internet, with a registration fee of R$ 220. The selection process will include objective exams, a discursive exam, and a title evaluation.

In political developments ahead of the upcoming elections, ACM Neto has pledged to continue state-initiated public works in the municipality of Barrocas if elected governor. This commitment follows a request from former mayor José Jailson de Lima Ferreira, who sought guarantees regarding the continuity of infrastructure projects, such as roads and school construction.
