Bahia Court of Justice announces new judicial appointments and exchanges

The Court of Justice of the State of Bahia (TJBA) has announced several judicial appointments and structural changes. President José Edivaldo Rocha Rotondano formalized the arrival of two judges through a mutual exchange process. Lucas do Carmo de Jesus, previously from the Court of Justice of Pará, will serve in the Criminal Executions and Alternative Measures Court of Juazeiro. Rosa Cristina Ribeiro Paiva, arriving from the Court of Justice of Ceará, will take office as the head of the Tanque Novo district.

Additionally, the TJBA has addressed vacancies resulting from the voluntary retirement of Desembargador Mário Alberto Simões Hirs. Edmilson Jatahy Fonseca Junior has been summoned to serve as a titular member of the Special Body (Órgão Especial). To fill the vacancy in the 1st Civil Chamber, substitute second-degree judge Zandra Anunciação Alvarez Parada has been appointed to continue her jurisdictional functions in the position previously held by Hirs.
