Bahia Court of Justice launches conciliation week and football violence prevention course
The Court of Justice of the State of Bahia (TJBA) has launched several judicial initiatives aimed at conflict resolution and social harmony. The court has commenced its 2nd State Conciliation Week, which has scheduled over 20,000 hearings across the state. These sessions, held through various judicial units and specialized centers, aim to promote dialogue and consensual solutions for both common and special court processes.
In a separate effort to address socio-sporting conflicts, the TJBA introduced a training course focused on preventing violence in football. Utilizing restorative justice techniques, the program involves representatives from major organized supporter groups, the Public Ministry, the Public Defender's Office, and the Bahia Football Federation. The initiative seeks to foster a collaborative network to resolve complex issues related to stadium violence and improve the sporting environment.
