Bahia defeats Bragantino 3-2 to extend unbeaten streak

Bahia secured a 3-2 comeback victory against Red Bull Bragantino at the Estádio Cícero de Souza Marques, marking their third consecutive win in the Campeonato Brasileiro. The win extends Bahia's unbeaten streak to ten matches and keeps them in fifth place (the G5) with 45 points.

Bragantino took an early lead through Lucas Barbosa in the 13th minute. Bahia responded before halftime with a penalty converted by Luciano Juba, followed by a header from Alejo Véliz to take the lead. Although Santiago Mingo equalized for Bragantino late in the first half, Erick secured the win for Bahia with a header in the second half.

With this result, Bahia leads the 2026 Brasileirão ranking for the most comeback victories, totaling five. The team will next face Remo at the Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova on Monday, the 14th.
