The Bahia State Department of Education (SEC) concluded a two‑day training event on 22 July 2026 for technical staff from municipal education secretariats and Territorial Education Nuclei. Organized with the Anísio Teixeira Institute, the National Union of Municipal Education Leaders and local education secretaries, the program in Salvador addressed the role of technical teams in fostering learning, inclusion and equity, student retention strategies, and monitoring of students in the final years of elementary school. The agenda also included a session on the collaboration framework between state and municipalities and a technical‑financial support workshop for Rural Family Schools and Rural Family Houses.

In a related initiative, Senar Bahia held its 2026 Pedagogical Meeting for Tutors, further supporting educational professionals in the region.
