Bahia football club posts dominant U‑17 win and coach Rogério Ceni reaches 100 victories

The EC Bahia under‑17 side secured a 4‑0 victory over Grêmio in the Brazilian Sub‑17 championship, moving the team into the top eight of the competition and improving its position to seventh on the table.

Senior team coach Rogério Ceni celebrated his 100th win with Bahia after a 4‑1 friendly triumph over Montevideo City Torque. The win places him among only seven coaches in the club's history to reach the centenary mark and brings him close to eclipsing the record for most Série A victories.

Both achievements come as Bahia prepares for the continuation of its domestic campaigns, with the U‑17s set to face Internacional next and the senior side looking to add further titles in the ongoing season.
