Bahia defeats Internacional 3-2 to enter G-5 in Campeonato Brasileiro

Bahia secured a 3-2 comeback victory against Internacional at the Arena Fonte Nova during the 25th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. Erick Pulga was the standout performer, scoring two goals to lead the team to the win.

Despite Internacional taking an early lead through Alan Patrick in the 15th minute, Bahia responded quickly. Pulga equalized with a volley in the 22nd minute, followed by his second goal later in the half. Erick added a fourth goal for Bahia, though Vitinho later scored for Internacional to finalize the score.

With this result, Bahia reached 40 points, moving into fifth place and entering the G-5 zone. Conversely, Internacional fell to 18th place with 25 points, placing them in the relegation zone and extending their winless streak to nine matches. Bahia's coach, Rogério Ceni, praised the squad's mental strength in overcoming the early deficit.
