Bahia hosts major livestock forum and soil management symposium

Agricultural development and technical innovation are taking center stage in Bahia through two major industry events. The 1st Bahia Livestock Forum, organized by the Baiana Association of Livestock (Acrioeste) and the City of Barreiras, has commenced in Barreiras. The forum aims to strengthen the livestock sector through discussions on innovation, business, and the challenges facing the industry.

Simultaneously, the IV Brazilian Symposium on Sandy Soils (IV SBSA) is set to take place in Luís Eduardo Magalhães from September 1 to 3. With registrations fully booked, the event will gather approximately 400 participants, including researchers from institutions such as Embrapa and various universities, to address soil management, water retention, and sustainability in the MATOPIBA agricultural frontier.
