Bahia launches internship program and business development initiatives
The state of Bahia is offering several professional development and employment opportunities. Through the ‘Partiu Estágio’ program, the Bahia State Administration Secretariat (Saeb) has opened 5,718 internship positions within state public agencies. These roles are distributed across Salvador and 309 other municipalities. Eligible applicants must reside in Bahia, be at least 16 years old, and have completed at least 50% of an undergraduate degree in fields such as Administration, Law, Engineering, and Pedagogy. Selected students will receive a stipend and food assistance.
Additionally, the second edition of ‘Trilha Preta’ is accepting applications in Salvador. Managed by the Secretariat of Economic Development, Employment, and Income (Semdec), this program aims to strengthen businesses led by Black individuals. The initiative seeks to select up to 500 enterprises, primarily in the gastronomy, fashion, crafts, and health sectors. The program includes two phases: business training involving workshops and mentorship, followed by an acceleration phase providing branding services and strategic scaling support.
