Bahia modernizes full-time state colleges in Santa Cruz and Itapuã

The State of Bahia has officially reopened two modernized full-time state colleges: Clarice Pereira dos Santos in Santa Cruz and Lomanto Júnior in Itapuã. These renovations are part of a state policy to strengthen full-time education and improve learning environments.

In Santa Cruz, the Clarice Pereira dos Santos college, which serves over 300 students, received a new theater, student restaurant, library, changing rooms, and a renovated multi-sport court. The facility also underwent upgrades to its 11 classrooms, science and IT laboratories, and specialized educational assistance rooms, alongside improvements in accessibility, climate control, and electrical and hydraulic systems.

The Lomanto Júnior college in Itapuã, serving approximately 500 students, was upgraded with a theater, changing rooms, accessibility features, and a student restaurant. Improvements were made to its 23 classrooms, auditorium, administrative spaces, music and language rooms, and chemistry laboratory. The project also included enhancements to the parking area, entrance, and the installation of a new electrical substation.
