Bahia police arrest eleven in drug trafficking ring using hair cream

Police in Bahia arrested eleven suspects as part of an operation targeting a drug trafficking group that catered to high-income clients. The investigation revealed that the group used hair cream containers to conceal narcotics, which were then vacuum-sealed and sent via commercial buses to avoid detection.

According to investigators, the group primarily used social media, specifically Instagram, to advertise products and conduct sales through private messages. The operation targeted the distribution network used to supply cities in the interior of the state, such as Vitória da Conquista, where regional leaders received shipments in Salvador before redistributing them to nearby municipalities. Among the substances distributed was ‘ICE’.
