Brazil educational and professional opportunities announced in Bahia and Mato Grosso

Various educational and professional opportunities have been announced across Brazil. In Bahia, the Universidade do Estado da Bahia (UNEB) has opened applications for its 2027 entrance exam (Vestibular), offering 5,497 undergraduate vacancies. The application period runs from September 15 to October 7, 2026, with a registration fee of R$ 95. The process includes specific quotas for Black candidates (40%) and additional reserved spots for indigenous, quilombola, gypsy, and transgender individuals.

In Mato Grosso, Unemat has opened applications for 155 university extension scholarships. These include 140 undergraduate positions paying R$ 700 monthly and 15 graduate positions paying R$ 1,225 monthly. Applications must be submitted by September 24.

Additionally, Politec (Mato Grosso's Official Forensic and Technical Identification) is conducting a simplified selection process for temporary positions in Cuiabá and 17 other cities. The roles for technicians and analysts offer salaries up to R$ 8,200. Elsewhere in Mato Grosso, several public exams and selection processes are active, with some offering salaries as high as R$ 23,684 for medical professionals in Lucas do Rio Verde.
