Bahlil Lahadalia ranks among top three performing ministers in IPO survey

A recent survey by Indonesia Political Opinion (IPO) has placed Bahlil Lahadalia, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources and Chairperson of the Golkar Party, among the top three ministers in terms of positive performance perception. Bahlil received a 32.0% positive rating, ranking third behind Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa (42.8%) and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya (33.5%).

Golkar party members in Gorontalo and members of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) have expressed optimism regarding these results. Analysts noted that Bahlil's performance rating is closely aligned with his popularity level of 32.8%, suggesting a strong correlation between public recognition and positive perception of his work in the sensitive energy and mining sectors. This result is viewed as a potential asset for both the Golkar Party and the administration of President Prabowo Subianto.
