Bahnhofstrasse luxury retail expands with new flagship stores

Luxury brands are expanding their presence on Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse, driven by high demand for large-scale flagship stores. The vacancy rate on the prestigious shopping street is currently extremely low at 0.8 percent.

Recent developments include Loro Piana opening a renovated and significantly enlarged store at Bahnhofstrasse 26, which now features a third floor with exclusive private salons. Chanel has also expanded its presence at Bahnhofstrasse 52, more than doubling its sales area to nearly 600 square meters across three floors.

Other notable openings include Jimmy Choo, which reopened its premium shop in June following a three-month renovation, and Ralph Lauren, which launched its first Zurich flagship store earlier this spring, featuring an integrated ‘Ralph’s Coffee’ concept.
