Bahoruco Senator welcomes INEFI sports program to Neiba

Senator Guillermo Lama has expressed gratitude to the National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI) for implementing the ‘INEFI con el Barrio’ program in the municipality of Neiba, Bahoruco.

The initiative brings sports, recreation, and physical activities directly to popular sectors to promote social coexistence and provide youth with alternatives to crime and addiction. In addition to providing sports equipment, the program integrates the community through recreational games and neighborhood competitions.

Lama noted that the program reflects the commitment of President Luis Abinader to the youth and children of the Dominican Republic, emphasizing its role in fostering community spirit and positive values.
