Bahrain and Yemen football teams prepare for Gulf Cup 27 in Jeddah

The national football teams of Bahrain and Yemen are finalizing their preparations for the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, scheduled to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from September 23 to October 6.

The Bahraini national team has concluded its local training program, which began on September 13. Under the leadership of coach Dragan Talajic, the squad focused on technical and tactical aspects before traveling to Jeddah. The final 26-player roster includes players such as Ibrahim Lutfallah, Mohammed Al-Gharabli, and Omar Salem. The team will compete in Group B alongside Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

Similarly, the Yemeni national team, led by coach Noureddine Ould Ali, has conducted training sessions at King Abdullah Sports City to ensure physical and technical readiness. Yemeni Football Association General Secretary Hussam Al-Sanbani met with the players and staff to offer encouragement ahead of the tournament. Yemen is also placed in Group B and is scheduled to face the UAE on September 24, followed by Qatar on September 27, and Bahrain on September 30.
