Bahrain coach accepts responsibility ahead of Gulf Cup match against Yemen

Bahrain national team coach Dragan Talajic has accepted responsibility for the team’s poor performance in the Gulf Cup 27. Ahead of Bahrain’s final group stage match against Yemen, Talajic expressed regret to the fans and noted that while the team has lost its chance to advance to the next round, the players are motivated to perform well in their final appearance.

Talajic highlighted several challenges facing the squad, including a lack of competitive match experience for some players within the Bahraini league and the need for better physical conditioning. He emphasized the importance of correcting errors made in previous matches, such as the opening game against Qatar.

Meanwhile, Yemen national team coach Noureddine Ould Ali stated that his player selections are based on performance during training and matches. He called for a realistic approach to the current state of Yemeni football and stressed the importance of fostering competition among players to improve technical standards on the pitch.
