Baia Mare hospital launches free maternity education program

The Dr. Constantin Opriș County Emergency Hospital in Baia Mare is launching the tenth cycle of its ‘Mother School’ program. Running from September 10 to November 10, 2026, the initiative offers free educational sessions for expectant mothers in the Maramureș region.

Medical specialists and professionals will lead discussions on various stages of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, breastfeeding, and infant care. The curriculum includes sessions on the three trimesters of pregnancy, emotional balance during the postpartum period, and pediatric visits. Participation does not require prior appointment.
