BAIC unveils new rugged off-road vehicle models

Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC) is expanding its off-road lineup with new models featuring robust designs and advanced technology. The Beijing Xingtan 5X is a large SUV measuring 4,865 mm in length, offering a choice between plug-in hybrid and electric powertrains, with a gasoline version expected later. It features an 800V electrical architecture and can be equipped with the Huawei ADS 5 Pro advanced assistance system.

Additionally, the BAIC BJ60 positions itself as a high-luxury competitor in the SUV segment, offering significant interior space and a seven-seat configuration. The BJ60 provides a large cargo capacity of up to 972 liters in five-seat mode and includes premium features such as leather upholstery, an Infinity audio system, and ventilated, heated, and massaging front seats. The BJ60 is notably larger in dimensions than competitors like the Skoda Kodiaq.
