Bailey Ettridge named Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week

Oregon Ducks punter Bailey Ettridge has been named the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week by the Augusta Sports Council. The recognition follows his performance against UCLA, where he recorded six punts for a 48.17-yard average, including a 67-yard punt that pinned the Bruins at their own 2-yard line.

Ettridge, a sophomore from Lara, Australia, is currently approaching an Oregon single-season punting record. His season average of 48.24 yards puts him just 0.17 yards shy of the 48.41-yard record set by Ross James in 2023. On the season, Ettridge has recorded six punts of 50-plus yards and seven punts pinned inside the 20-yard line.
