Baiona launches local plan to boost social economy and employment

Baiona has launched a Local Social Economy Plan designed to stimulate the municipal economic model and utilize local resources. The initiative is part of a pilot project led by the Xunta de Galicia to assist Galician municipalities in developing customized economic strategies.

The plan includes a local diagnosis and outlines strategic lines and priority actions to consolidate social economy initiatives. It aims to promote collective entrepreneurship, create stable employment, and strengthen the local productive fabric through a participatory process involving cooperatives, associations, and local businesses.
