Bairro dos Ipês and Laranjeiras qualify for Copa João Pessoa

The final participants for the 17th edition of the Copa João Pessoa de Futebol Amador have been determined. Bairro dos Ipês and Laranjeiras secured the last two spots available through the Torneio de Acesso.

In the first match at Arena da Graça, Bairro dos Ipês drew 1-1 with Manaíra during regulation time. After a missed penalty in normal play, Bairro dos Ipês won the decisive penalty shootout 4-3. In the second match, Laranjeiras defeated Castelo Branco II with a score of 3-1, following goals from John Kennedy, Victor Feliz, and Jônatas.

These two teams join Padre Zé and Prosind, who had previously secured their places in the main phase of the 2026 tournament. The competition concludes with a full roster of 64 teams set to compete in the capital of Paraíba.
